Personal Crest Written Evaluation A Narrative Piece About You |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||
This is the fourth part of the assignment, which is the written description that will explain each of the elements that you chose for your personal crest and why each represents you. This is to be written as a narrative, not as a grocery list (ie - do not do - I chose red because it means blood). Our expectation is that you will write this as if you were writing for your English class (but Mr. Rogan and Mr. Craft - this is Graphics and Art!) Tough, writing is a common workplace expectation and Rogan teaches English to boot! If you use your required elements/inventory (which is also part of the grade within this assignment) you may find the writing piece to be easier. For those of you who need a length or word count expectation - we would like it to be a minimum of 3 paragraphs and/or 350 words. Your paper should include so sort of a descriptor/explanation of what a Crest is. **What needs to be in your narrative** * Helmet * Motto – To be written on your banner * Shield * Banner- Either above or below. * Symbolism – You need to include at least five symbols chosen from any of the following: Heraldic Lines and Ordinaries Colors Animals Flowers Birds Beasts * Mantle Animals People Floral Ribbon Scrollwork
Save this document as Crest Narrative in your graphics folder.
