Academic, Career, and Personal Goals
Short Term Goals
- I hope to achieve a 4.0 GPA on my college transcript. I am aiming for straight A’s this year at SOU. I also want to get a B or better each term in CSB.
- In track I want to make it to state. In order to do so I must build my leg strength in the gym and be able to clear 5’ or higher by districts.
Intermediate-term
- In the fall term of 2011 I plan on attending SOU. My goal is to be accepted to UCI, UCSD, or UCLA by 2013 so that I may begin my fall term at that school.
- I plan to receive my math major in 2013 so that I may begin a carreer as an actuary by the time I go to southern California. By doing so, I can work my way through college.
- I want to secure a job close to the college I will be attending starting in 2012 so that I can work through college, start a family when I am ready, and do so without making a long commute.
Long Term Goals
- Following graduation from the 10-12 year college program required to receive my certificate of anesthesiology as well as a PhD in biomedical engineering, I will secure a job in biomedical engineering. This will allow me to work at home and raise any children I may have at that point in time.
- 10-15 years after I graduate from college, I want to have my student loans paid off. This is going to require having a well paying job as either an established biomedical engineer, or I will need to have started my career in anesthesiology.
