Short Term:

My first short term goal is to achieve a 4.0 GPA for my junior year. In order to achieve this goal, I will do my best to get an “A” in all my classes at the end of each trimester. I will complete all my homework on time, study for each test, and turn in quality work for each assignment. I want to have the 4.0 for this year by June, 2010.

My second short term goal is to get a job before the beginning of 2010. I will be consistent in checking back to the places I apply. I will put quality information on my applications, resumes, cover letters, and thank you letters. I want to have one job by January 1, 2010.To achieve this goal I will keep trying with available jobs.

Mid-Term:

My first mid-term goal is to paint my car by the end of summer 2010. I will get a job and work as many hours as possible to save about $500 for paint. I will be persistent in getting as much money as possible and then I will buy the paint and apply it. I want to have the money, paint, and the paintjob done by August 31, 2010.

My second mid-term goal is to get my motorcycle license by mid-summer of 2010. I will get a job and save about $150 so I can take the motorcycle endorsement class. I will study the books for Oregon laws on motorcycles and I will be persistent in going to the classes. I want to have taken the class by July 31, 2010. To achieve my goal I will keep working and saving money.

Long Term:

My first long term goal is to join the Air Force and become an engineer by 2016. I will do my best to graduate high school in May of 2010 with a 4.0 GPA and do my research as to find the best military branch to join and the best college within that branch. I will study and do my best to complete a degree in engineering. I want to join the college and start my degree in September of 2011. I will do my best to pass the class and become and engineer by June of 2015. I will continue to stay in school and do my best.

My second long term goal is to restore my 1983 El Camino to look like a top dollar show car by 2020. I will save my money and get a good career so I can afford this restoration. I will get the best parts on the line and add them slowly to my car. By December 31, 2020, I want my car to be finished and look really good. I will stay in school, do my best to achieve my other goals and get a good career.

My last goal is to someday have a family of my own consisting of a wife and a few kids. I want my own house and chunk of property in the lovely wilderness of Southern Oregon. I hope to achieve this goal by the time I am 30 so I can enjoy it as long as possible.
