Over the last two years I have done quite a few things to challenge myself and get one step closer toward achieving my goal of becoming a successful pharmacist.Pharmacy requires a lot of math and science, making me the perfect candidate. Not only do I excel in these subjects, but I enjoy them as well. I have taken Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry, and although I may have to take these classes again in college, I will be more prepared and confident than I would have been if I hadn’t taken these classes in high school. Just recently I have begun an internship with a pharmacy in Jacksonville through the Crater School of Business. I am so grateful for this opportunity because it allows me to see exactly what it takes to be a pharmacist, while gaining experience in the field that I will eventually be a part of.
