  • Go to Career Finder Interest Quiz at SchoolFinder.com
    • Read the front page - What do you like doing?
    • The Interest Quiz will tell you what type of person you are:
      • Innovative - Directive - Objective - Methodical - Social
    • It is important that you answer the questions truthfully, in order to get accurate feedback
    • Click on Start the Quiz

  • After you complete the quiz, click "Get @ it" - this will lead you to:
    your list of jobs, and a rating of what type of person you are. Make note of what type of person you are, this will be used later.
  • Click on the job hyperlink to investigate four different jobs. (If you only have only one job listed, click on "career by name" at the top of the page and pick the jobs yourself.)
    • Read all about each job that your interests fit
    • Read all about what type of person you are - if you are an S-O, what does that mean? Keep this information handy, as you will be using it in a minute

    • Introduces you (a cover slide)
    • Showcases the jobs in your interest area (a minimum of four slides)
    • Your interest profile types (a minimum of two slides).

  • Slides 2 - 5 The slides on your job interests should include the following:career name, requirements, employers, earnings, and outlook. If you feel like none of the jobs identified from the quiz quite fit you, you may choose another career using your own research or from the "career by name" list and add that to your slide show.
  • Slides 6 - 7 These slides should define your interest profile
